Lin was the manager of the restaurant, and she was super sweet. I had a great experience. The food was pretty good, and the service was great. The waitress, Michele, provided excellent service. The coffee was great, but the hash browns could be improved. Other than that, all the locals love the food, and I would recommend it. Those coconut banana and pineapple pancakes are absolutely delicious. and the service was pretty fast. Didn't have to wait. That was awesome for being a Sunday.
Food was delicious. Service was great. It's self seating, then they bring you your menu, water, take food order, bring utensils.. etc Inside is very spacious, lots of seats available, tons of older decorations (place has been open for decades) Very big food portions, let the pictures speak for itself. We ordered the Hawaiian Plate, Hannara Korean Special, Bi Bim Kook Soo & Chap Chae.
For our first dinner out while here on vacation we wanted some good Hawaiian food and this spot looked good. I very much enjoyed the Loco Moco and my wife enjoyed the Chopped Steak with noodles and veggies. Both meals included rice and macaroni salad. Both were very tasty with generous portions provided. Staff was very friendly and dining room was simple but nicely decorated with all things Hawaii.
We were passing by and this spot was a random choice for a brunch. We ordered omelets and two Delux Cheeseburgers. I didn't expect much from the cheeseburgers, but omg it was so good! The tastiest burgers we have ever had! We definitely recommend the food!
Sign inside says Best Hamburger Steak on the West side. It is the one place u gotta go when you are in Waianae. It is a home town diner. The kind where you sit down and talk to your friends. Service and food is no frills. Fast service, fast with the food. Notables for me is the Chicken Katsu (chunky like how Diners used to be), Grilled Tofu w/ chicken(the gravy is ono), Hawaiian plate will get you full. Not much on deserts, so we get coconut and banana pancakes.
Food here u must order it feels home cooked food we grew up eating so u know it's delicious when I say that haha.They have all kinds of selections to order from.There so much room to order and eat in as well.Come get your grinds
Hubby and I came here for breakfast. I just wanted a spam, eggs and rice breakfast. I got my eggs over easy with spam and white rice. Everything was good. Hubby also ordered banana pancakes for us to share. This was amazingly delicious. Butter and regular syrup on top. So good. The pancakes were moist. I drank orange juice. Orange juice was cold and tasted fresh. So good. My meal was good even though it was simple and it filled me up along with half of the banana pancakes. There were lots of sliced bananas in the pancakes. Service was good. The waitress came by a few times to check up on us. Descent service. There's a few parking stalls up front. They're located on the corner so you can't miss it. Highly recommend.
